Review: WaterField Designs Syde Surface Book Case

WaterField Designs has done it again, delivering a high-quality case companion for the Surface Book that could be one of the most sought-after accessories for Microsoft's current (and future) laptop offering.

You've seen me drool over WaterField's bags here over the last few years. Each time, though, I've always gone back to my favorite original, the Vitesse Messenger bag with the Gear Pouch. But, this time, WaterField has finally lured me away from the Vitesse, primarily because they've provided a quality case with all the carry and storage options, but also a bag that comes with a gear pouch attached. As you can see in the photo slideshow, this is a bag with attention to detail. It even has a back pocket for carrying items you need quick access to, such as boarding passes or reading material.

The bag is sold out for December with a new production run coming in January 2017, but you can get your order in now for $159: https://www.sfbags.com/collections/microsoft-surface-book-cases/products/syde-surface-book-case

You can choose the material and colors for your specific bag. If you are considering buying one to give as a present, just handing a printed picture of the Syde Surface case should enthrall the recipient.
