When you start Windows XP, it can take up to 3 minutes to connect to your wireless network.
NOTE: During the connection process, your computer does NOT respond.
This behavior is caused by the wireless network card driver not responding during the initialization of Client for Microsoft Networks.
You can set up two different hardware profiles, one for a wired connection (disabling the wireless adapter), and one for a wireless connection (disabling the LAN network adapter).
