Novell To Acquire Tally Systems

Novell announced that it will acquire Tally Systems, a maker of asset-management solutions. Novell said that the acquisition, which is expected to close by mid-April, will let the company complement its ZENworks systems-management solution with Tally Systems' asset-management capabilities. ZENworks 7, announced March 21, automates the management of servers, desktops, laptops, and handhelds, including systems based on Linux, Novell NetWare, and Windows.
