JSI Tip 9727. The WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage) validation check does not complete on your copy of Windows XP SP2?

When you request a download from Microsoft, you may be prompted to complete the WGA validation check. When you press Yes ... and Continue, the validation process is not completed.
This behavior occurs if the ActiveX Control required to complete the validation is being block by Internet Explorer.
To resolve this behavior:
1. Press the Information Bar, under the Internet Explorer toolbar, that contains notification of the required ActiveX Control download.
2. Press Install ActiveX Control.
3. Use the Security Warning dialog to verify that the publisher is Microsoft Corporation before you press Install.
