NuoDB is designed to meet the needs of "cloud-scale" apps and connected devices in use worldwide. NuoDB nodes can run in the cloud (Windows Azure compatibility) and NuoDB clusters can consist of a mixture of Windows and Linux nodes (and appears to be gaining popularity atop Microsoft Windows Server).
