Troubleshooter: Nonfunctioning Mailbox Manager

For about a month, I was using the Exchange 2000 Server Mailbox Manager successfully. However, after I installed a hotfix, the Mailbox Manager abruptly stopped working. How do I get it working again?

Now you know why Microsoft tells you not to install hotfixes unless you need them. You can contact Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) to find out whether this behavior is a known problem with the hotfix. If it is, you might be forced to choose between the Mailbox Manager and the hotfix. In the meantime, you might try removing and reinstalling the Mailbox Manager to see whether that makes any difference.
