Troubleshooter: Disclaimers on Exchange 2000 Messages

How do I set up an automatic disclaimer on all outgoing mail in Exchange 2000 Server as I could in Exchange Server 5.5?

You can set up disclaimers in two ways. The first way is to use the sample code that Microsoft provides in the article "SAMPLE: How to Add a Disclaimer to Outgoing SMTP Messages with SMTP Transport Events" (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q288098). This code implements a transport event sink that fires when an SMTP message arrives from a sender outside your organization. Because the code is a sample, you might not want to implement it on your production servers. (The code isn't thoroughly debugged, nor is it optimized for best performance.) The second method is to use a third-party disclaimer product. See the IT Buyer's Network (http://www.itbuynet.com) for a list of these products.
