Microsoft OneDrive recognized as a Forrester Wave Leader in Enterprise File Sync and Share

In Forrester's 4th Quarter Wave report for Enterprise File Sync and Share, Microsoft's OneDrive was the top product/service in the Leaders category.

According to Microsoft, this is a reflection of the company's efforts to provide customers with the ability to easily collaborate, increase productivity, and provide tools to simplify migration from on-premises to the cloud.

Google, Box, and Citrix are also in Forrester's Leaders quadrant.

Microsoft IoT Central broadens reach with simplicity of SaaS for enterprise-grade IoT

Microsoft's IoT Central enters public preview this week to provide customers access to tools that will help them support the rollout and inclusion of these IoT devices in company applications. The new portal eliminates the need to constantly manage the back-end hardware to get these services up and running.

Announcing AWS Single Sign-On (SSO)

The single sign-on service allows users to consolidate their access to multiple AWS services and accounts under one set of corporate credentials. The feature includes full management tools for administrators to manage access by various employees and to incorporate SSO  into company security-enabled applications. The service already has connectivity built in for business applications from Salesforce, Box, and Office 365.

With Google Kubernetes Engine regional clusters, master nodes are now highly available

Google has made regional clusters available in beta this week for customers who need to create control planes to make sure their clusters experience higher uptime.

Clusters in the Kubernetes Engine will help to prevent single zone failures from bringing down your service plus there will be no outages during master upgrades.

OAuth whitelisting can now control access to GCP services and data

Managing complete control over who can access the valuable resources your company provides and pays for is a critical infrastructure requirement for businesses these days.

Those companies whom are on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) can now take advantage of new enhancements to Google's OAuth whitelisting feature and protect apps and data located in the companies GCP
