This week, TiVo announced that it will soon launch its TiVoToGo service, which lets some TiVo subscribers copy recorded TV content from their digital video recorder (DVR) to a PC notebook computer. TiVoToGo is a great idea, but it's late to market. Microsoft has offered a similar capability to its Media Center customers for over 2 years now, and TiVo's service was first announced 1 year ago. Worst of all, DirecTiVo customers can't use the service. Still, better late than never
