Quick Look: Lenovo Ideacentre Y700 Desktop

The Lenovo Ideacentre Y700 Gaming Desktop has landed on my step for a review and I want to give you a look at the hardware and specs as I get started.

I have setup this machine to temporarily replace my normal podcasting setup so it will get standard desktop testing/use and will also get some gaming action by streaming from the Xbox One and Steam games on the desktop side.

Initial impression of the hardware is that the case is very spacious and it feels high end. The review unit I received included a gaming headset, mechanical gaming keyboard, standard gaming keyboard and a gaming mouse. There are red lights everywhere including the mouse and I need to do some research about adjusting their functionality and brightness along the way.

My full experience with this machine will be online in about three weeks but to get you started here is an image gallery to give you a taste of the hardware along with the specs.

This unit retails at Best Buy for $999 but is currently on sale for $100 off at $899.99.
