Microsoft Health Mobile App Gets First Update

And it fixes some big bugs

Microsoft today issued an update to the Microsoft Health mobile app that's a requirement for any Microsoft Band user. The update fixes some big bugs in the initial release of the app and improves stability.

Microsoft Health 1.3.1111.2 adds the following updates:

Corrected historical views for steps and calories.

Zip code validation correction. This one was really bugging me, but now you can complete your profile correctly.

Birth date validation correction. I didn't see this issue, but this is another one that impacts your profile.

Sleep tracking. The new app version improves its handling of 0-minute duration sleep events.

Connected apps link is now available at first sign-up. Previously, you had to open the shelf menu and choose Connected Apps after getting your Band set up. I'm surprised there aren't already more connected apps, however.

Stability. The new version also includes general app stability improvements.

As usual, you will get the app update automatically, via Google Play Store (Android), Apple's App Store (iPhone) or the Windows Phone Store
