Microsoft Denies Support for Nintendo DS

Microsoft representatives have denied rumors that surfaced during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) gaming trade show that the company's Rare subsidiary was planning to produce game titles for Nintendo's upcoming handheld device, the Nintendo Dual Screen (DS). Microsoft says that Rare won't be producing DS titles and that Microsoft will instead continue to focus on Xbox and Windows titles. That's a shame, Microsoft. Rare was once one of the industry's cooler developers, and the company had strong ties to Nintendo before Microsoft purchased it
