Lenovo launches new Yoga #Windows10Devices in San Francisco

You may recall that when Microsoft announced all their new hardware a couple of weeks ago they also revealed a busy schedule of Windows executives heading around the world to help partners launch new Windows 10 based devices.

Today that schedule stops in San Francisco with Joe Belfiore in town as Lenovo launches two new devices in their popular Yoga line of products.

Lenovo considers the Yoga 900 and Yoga Home 900 as premium Windows 10 devices that should provide the ultimate in flexibility whether it be for work or home use.

Lenovo Yoga 900 Convertible Laptop

My first experience with the Yoga convertible devices was the Yoga 11s using Windows 8/8.1. At that times it was the fastest 2 in 1 I had ever used and the build quality was excellent.

The Yoga 900 looks to take that design even further and incorporates some of the latest technology available to take advantage of features in Windows 10 such as Continuum which allows the device to transition between laptop and tablet mode seamlessly.

Lenovo said the watchband hinge has been enhanced over past generations of the unique technology that allows the device to be used in four different modes: Laptop, Tent, Stand and Tablet.

The built in battery will give you three hours to game or easily watch your favorite movie or multiple episodes of a new television series.

Lenovo Yoga Home 900

The Yoga Home 900 comes with Lenovo’s own AURA 3.0 interface which allows the device to use productivity apps through the AURA Store such as the Air Hockey game shows above.

There are also apps for entertainment, productivity and education in the AURA Store however, Lenovo has not forgotten about the apps that are available in the Windows Store and they have linked the Aura Store to the Windows Store. A list of apps that have been curated by Lenovo directly from the Windows Store are available to take advantage of the unique features of this device.
