JSI Tip 9880. Freeware GUI allows you to change the record of the Windows software owner and owner organizaion.

In tip 0095, I exposed the registry Value Names that you must change if the recorded operating system owner and/or owner organization is incorrect.

If you prefer to use a simple GUI, download Doug Knox's XP_ChangeOwnerOrg.zip.

Unzip XP_ChangeOwnerOrg.zip and double-click on XP_ChangeOwnerOrg.exe. If Registered Owner or Registered Organization is incorrect, change them and press the Change button.
