JSI Tip 9110. The Windows XP MouseKeys accessibility feature prevents you from typing numbers on the numeric keypad?

The subject behavior occurs if you enable the MouseKeys accessibility feature when NUM LOCK is on.

To workaround this behavior:

1. Start / Run / access.cpl / OK.

2. Select the Mouse tab.

3. Press the Settings button.

4. Press the Off radial button next to Use MouseKeys when NumLock is:.

5. Press OK and OK.

NOTE: You can turn off MouseKeys by clearing the Use MouseKeys box on the Mouse tab.
