JSI Tip 8001. Windows Media Player 9 Series still uses a proxy server after you set Group Policy to use None?

The subject problem occurs because a bug in Windows Media Player 9 Series still uses the proxy server that was specified before Group Policy was set to None.

To resolve this problem:

Download and install the WindowsMedia9-KB840595-ENU.exe package.
