JSI Tip 7764. When you install a slipstreamed copy of Windows 2000 SP4 from a USB CD-ROM drive, pressing Finish generates a BSOD (STOP)?

The subject problem occurs because a software problem causes a race condition in the USB during the device-removal process.

The only current workaround is to install Windows 2000 with the RTM CD-ROM, or slipstreamed with any other Service Pack, or use a non-USB CD-ROM drive.
