JSI Tip 7691. Color documents print in grayscale on Windows XP when using a Canon S450 or S800 color printer?

The subject behavior only happens when you spool documents to these printers.

To workaround this behavior on a directly attached printer, NOT a wireless printer, turn off spooling:

1. Press the Start menu and press Printers and Faxes.

2. Right-click the printer and press Properties.

3. Select the Advanced tab.

4. Select Print directly to the printer.

5. Press OK.
