JSI Tip 7614. How do I prevent a user from using the Run As feature in Windows 2000 Server?

To prevent a user from using the Run As feature in Windows 2000 Server:

1. Copy / Paste the following to a NoRunAs.reg file:

REGEDIT4

\[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\]
"HideRunAsVerb"=dword:00000001

2. Merge the NoRunAs.reg file with your registry, or run regedit /s NoRunAs.reg.

3. Restart your server.
