JSI Tip 7275. When you use Internet Explorer to download an Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) file, it is saved as a .ps extension instead of an .eps extension?

To fix the subject behavior:

1. Copy /Paste the following to an EPSfix.reg file:

REGEDIT4

\[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content Type\application/postscript\]
"Extension"=".ps, .eps"

2. Merge the EPSfix.reg file with your registry, or run regedit /s EPSfix.reg.
