JSI Tip 6977. How can I prevent the Windows XP Network Setup Wizard from creating a network bridge?

The default behavior of the Network Setup Wizard is to automatically bridge connections.

To prevent the Network Setup Wizard from automatically bridging connections:

1. Select the Let me choose the connections to my network option when you receive the Your computer has multiple connections message.

2. Press Next.

3. When you receive the Select the connections to bridge message, clear the check boxes from all but one of the network devices that are listed.

4. Press Next.
