When you use the Driver Update Wizard in Device Manager to update a device driver, the device driver in system memory may NOT be updated, and you are NOT prompted to restart your computer.
This behavior can occur if more than one device uses the device driver you have updated.
To insure that the device driver is properly updated, restart your computer.
