While inspecting the sub-keys of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall, I noticed that in addition to the required DisplayName and UninstallString Value Names, some applications, like Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, had a DisplayIcon Value Name.
The DisplayIcon Value Name is a string (REG_SZ) data type, that contains the full path to the icon file, executable, or Dynamic Link Library, followed optionally by a comma (,) and the icon number.
