Remote access policies are a set of conditions and connection settings that allow you more flexibility in getting connection attempts authorized.
Windows 2000 and Windows Server 20003 RRAS and IAS use remote access policies in determining whether to accept or reject connection attemps.
When you attempt to save a Remote Access Policy, you receive:
Windows 2000
Remote Access Policies Error: An error occurred while trying to save the changes to the profile. 0x80040e21.Windows Server 2003
An error occurred while trying to save the changes to the profile. The size of an attribute is more than the maximum of 4096 bytes. You cannot close the Profile Properties dialog unless there are fewer than 71 IP packet filter entries and 4096 bytes.
