JSI Tip 6101. How can I cause Windows XP Explorer to display the Attributes column using the registry?

When using the Details view, you can right-click a column heading and check the Attributes item.

To do this via the registry:

1. Copy / Paste the following to a ShowAttrib.reg file:

REGEDIT4

\[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\]
"ShowAttribCol"=dword:00000001

2. Merge the ShowAttrib.reg file with your registry or run regedit /s ShowAttrib.reg.
