JSI Tip 5467. Windows 2000 System Monitor can display drive letters in addition to the disk number?

If you want to correlate the logical disk information to the physical disks, you can configure System Monitor to include drive letters in addition to the disk number:

1. Use the Registry Editor to navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Perfdisk\performance.

2. Add a NT4 Instance Names Value Name, a REG_DWORD data type, and set the data value to 1.

NOTE: Some 3rd party parsing routines may stop functioning.
