The general steps to remove a 3rd party firewall program from Windows 2000 is:
01. Shutdown and power off your computer.
02. Unplug the network cable(s).
03. Restart the computer and press F8 to get the Advanced Option menu.
04. Select Safe Mode and press Enter.
05. If required, select your Windows 2000 installation and logon.
06. Use Control Panel / Add/Remove Programs to select the firewall program and press Remove or Change/Remove.
07. Complete the removal dialog, responding as necessary.
08. Close the applet.
09. Shutdown and power off your computer.
10. Reconnect your network cable(s).
11. Restart your computer.
