When you redirect the Documents and Settings folder, your System event log contains:
Event ID: 7000
Source: Service Control Manager
Description: The Service name service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Event ID: 7009
Source: Service Control Manager
Description: Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the Service name service to connect.
If the redirected folder is NOT accessible when the computer starts, these errors will occur.
Moving the Documents and Settings folder to a volume mount point can cause this problem.
To fix the problem, move any service account profiles back to the original partition.
