JSI Tip 4943. How do I configure Removable Storage to automatically return Backup media to the free media pool?

To configure Removable Storage to automatically return Backup media to the free media pool when it no longer needed:

1. Right-click My Computer and press Manage.

2. Double-click Removable Storage.

3. Double-click Media Pools.

4. Double-click Backup.

5. Right-click the media pool, like 4mm DDS and press Properties.

5. Select the General tab.

6. Check the Return media to Free media pool box.

7. Press Apply and OK.
