JSI Tip 4726. How do I get my Windows 2000 server to maintain a list of available Netware servers and services on my network?

Microsoft provides the SAP agent to maintain a list of available Netware servers and services on your network. The SAP agent must be specifically installed:

  1. Right-click Network Neighborhood and press Properties.
  2. Right-click Local Area Connection in the Network and Dial-up Connections dialog and press Properties.
  3. Press Install in the Local Area Connection Properties dialog.
  4. Press Service in the Select Network Component Type dialog and press Add
  5. Select SAP Agent in the Select Network Service dialog and then press OK.
  6. Press Close in the Local Area Connection Properties dialog.
  7. Close the Network and Dial-up Connections dialog box.
