JSI Tip 4428. How can I print to a text file without the embedded printer control codes?

Windows 2000 (NT 5.0) and Windows XP (NT 5.1) contain a Generic/Text Only printer driver that acts as a null printer driver.

Previous versions of Windows NT included carriage returns and escape codes when printing to a file.
