JSI Tip 4226. How do I open blocked attachments in Outlook 2002?

To roll the Outlook 2002 behavior back to the Outlook 2000 SR1 behavior:

1. Use the registry editor to navigate to:

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Security

2. Add value name Level1Remove, a string (REG_SZ) data type, and set the data value to a semicolon delimited string of file extensions. Example: To unblock Microsoft Access database files and Internet shortcuts, enter:

mdb;url

NOTE: If you invoke Help / About Microsoft Outlook, the Security Mode will show User Controlled.

NOTE: The user must save the attachment before opening it.
