If you have problems installing from the Windows Update site, first use the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
WINUP-Problems When Viewing or Downloading From Windows Update.
If that doesn't resolve your problem, and you can download, but the installation fails near the end of the progress bar, try the following:
1. Open Internet Explorer and type http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com in the Address bar and press Enter or GO.
2. Press Product Updates from the left hand menu.
3. Select the desired components.
