JSI Tip 3672. How do I prevent users from adjusting the toolbars?

To prevent users from adjusting the length of the desktop toolbars, from repositioning docked toolbars, and from reordering items on the toolbars, you can enable the Disable adjusting desktop toolbars Group Policy at User Configuration\AdministrativeTemplates\Desktop.

NOTE: If a user has made adjustments to the toolbars, implementing this policy will prevent them from restoring the default settings.

If the policy is Not configured, you can enable it by set the NoMovingBands value name, a REG_DWORD data type, to 1, at HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer.
