JSI Tip 3555. Can I create a shortcut to the Windows 2000 Device Manager?

If you want to directly access the Windows 2000 Device Manager:

1. Right-click on your desktop and press New and Shortcut.

2. Type %SystemRoot%\System32\mmc.exe %systemroot%\system32\devmgmt.msc

3. Press Next.

4. Type Device Manager

5. Press Finish.

NOTE: You may leave the shortcut on your desktop or place it on your Start menu or Quick Launch toolbar.
