JSI Tip 3158. Windows 2000 Terminal Services Client are greeted by a phanton Office 2000 Premium installer?

If a phanton install process randomly appears when you access Office 2000 help, you may have missing or corrupt entries at:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Common

You should have the following REG_DWORD data types:

UserData should be set to 1.

OSAShortcut should be set to 1.

If you add/set these Value Names at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Terminal Server\Install\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Common

also, new profiles will inherit the proper values.
