The date and time stamp of files on a CD-ROM, or originate from a CD-ROM, are adjusted for the local time zone.
This was done so that dates on a CDFS file system are displayed the same as on a UDFS (DVD-ROMS) file system.
If you have a script or program that is dependent on the non-adjusted date/time, it may not function properly.
The only work-around is to share the CD-ROM from a Windows NT 4.0 or W9x computer.
