JSI Tip 2539. Windows 2000 has Active Scripting enabled by default for Restricted Zones.

Microsoft will probably change this in a Service Pack. Until that happens:

1. Control Panel / Internet Options.

2. Select the Security tab.

3. Press Restricted Sites.

4. Press Custom Level.

5. Scroll the Setting area until the Scripting heading appears.

6. Check Active Scripting / Disable and press OK.

7. Press Yes to verify.

8. Press OK.

9. Exit Control Panel.
