JSI Tip 2192. My Windows 2000 DNS server's Root Hints and Forwarder pages are not available?

Your DNS clients can't get to the internet and you can't configure the server because the options are not available?

Your DNS server is configured as a root server.

You can use the DNS manager to delete the . zone

           OR

Open a CMD prompt and type:

dnscmd /ZoneDelete . /DsDel

where /DsDel is required if the zone is Active Directory integrated.
