If you receive The parameter is incorrect, while viewing Permissions in Windows NT Explorer, you probably used CACLS to grant (/G) Full Control to a user with the /E switch, when the user already had an ACL that contained Read, Write and/or eXecute permissions.
This is a bug in Netuil.dll, which can be circumvented by using the /P switch instead of the /G switch, but this will remove any inheritance currently set for the user.
A better solution is to contact Microsoft Support and ask for fix Q250318.
