JSI Tip 1955. Error when connecting from RRAS to RAS?

When you try to connect to a RAS server from a RRAS server (Routing and Remote Access Service) using TCP/IP, you may receive:

An error occurred while connecting the interface. No PPP control protocols configured.

RRAS can use DHCP to assign IP addresses for dial-in clients, or it can use a static address pool. If it is configured for DHCP and no DHCP server can be contacted, you will receive the above error message.

Resolve the problem or use a static address pool.
