JSI Tip 1823. Can Not Find Snmpapi.dll, while adding Perfomance Monitor counters?

When you attempt to add a counter to a Perfomance Monitor chart, you receive:

Can Not Find Snmpapi.dll.

I suspect you are not running the TCP/IP protocol.

When you install TCP/IP, %SystemRoot%\System32\Snmpapi.dll is installed.

To workaround this problem:

Expand <NT CD-ROM:>\i386\SNMPAPI.DL_ %SystemRoot%\System32\Snmpapi.dll

Re-apply your latest service pack, or extract the SNMPAPI.DLL from the service pack and copy it.
