JSI Tip 1520. How do I remove the SBS Client software from a client computer?

Unfortuneatley, the uninstall is non-functional.

Use the appropriate registry editor to navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Small Business

Save this key and sub-key information, just in case you change your mind. Then delete the Small Business key.

Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Small Business

Save this key and sub-key information, just in case. Then delete the Small Business key.

The files that are installed by the SBS client vary, based upon what was selected during setup. The client component installs:

        Ocsam.dll
        Ocmanage.dll
        Samcl4.dll
        Startcli.exe

You should also change the Internet Explorer default home page.
