The Internet Explorer 5.0 Repair Tool can detect and repair the following problems:
Identify files that are not current.
Fix registration problems with IE5 files.
Repair or restore IE5 desktop and start menu shortcuts.
To use the Repair Tool, run:
Control Panel / Add/Remove / Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and Internet Tools / Add/Remove / Repair Internet ExplorerClick Yes when prompted to confirm the repair.
You can also run the Repair Tool from the command line:
