JSI Tip 10474. Some PCI_Express devices DO NOT work on Windows 2000?

When Windows 2000 enumerates devices, some PCI-E devices DO NOT work.

If you open Device Manager, a a yellow exclamation mark appears next to the device. When you view the device Properties, you receive:

This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)

To workaround this problem, shutdown and restart your computer again.

NOTE: This behavior DOES NOT occur in Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and later operating systems.
