In tip 0009, we used the Control Panel special folder key to place Control Panel on your start menu. We could have just as easily placed it on a desktop or any Explorer folder.

If you wanted to created a Printers folder on your desktop, simply create a Printers.\{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D\} folder in Explorer (or a <anything>.\{2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D\} folder and then drag it to your desktop (or copy or move it to a users profile /Desktop folder).
The Bitmap Image has a unique property. If you rename a bitmap ( .BMP)
to <anything>.\{D3E34B21-9D75-101A-8C3D-00AA001A1652\} it becomes permanently associated MSPaint.exe.
You can rename it JSI_MADE_ME.DO_IT
but it will still open as a bitmap in MSPaint. If you rename any other file type (like this file, rh0756.htm)
to <anything>.\{D3E34B21-9D75-101A-8C3D-00AA001A1652\},
MSPaint won't open it when you double click, nor can you use the Open Dialogue in NotePad or IE to open it. You can, however, use a
Send To to open it.
