Introducing Lenovo's Tango-enabled Smartphones, the PHAB2 Line

Today, Lenovo unveiled a new line of mobile phones designed specifically for augmented-reality applications and user experiences. The PHAB2 line has three models, and each comes equipped with Tango technology -- a set of sensors and software from Google that senses the phone's motions through physical space.

Here's a practical application of this Tango technology: Lenovo teamed up with the home improvement company Lowe's to develop Lowe's Vision. This app will let PHAB2 users measure spaces with ease, and see how decor materials and appliances look in those spaces.

The PHAB2 phones will be available to customers worldwide in September 2016. Here's a rundown of what you can expect from each one. When we get a hands-on look, we'll tell you what it was like to play with these guys.
