How do I stop Windows 2000 Explorer from opening a new window when I map a network drive?

A. When you map a new network drive in Explorer, the system opens the newly mapped drive in a new window by default. To stop Win2K Explorer from opening a new window when you map a network drive, press the Shift key before you click Finish, and continue to hold down the Shift key for a short time after you click Finish.
