The Exchange Mailbox Merge Wizard offers various options for extracting mail. Click Options in the wizard dialog box that Figure 1 shows to open the Data Selection Criteria dialog box, which Figure 2 shows. I always select the User messages and folders option to extract user messages and folders, including calendar items. To ensure that you don’t lose any important information, you can select the options Associated folder messages and Items from Dumpster. The first option tells Exmerge to extract associate messages that aren’t visible through the client, including rules and views. The second option tells Exmerge to extract items that the user has deleted but which are still available for recovery.
