Is that a Digital Camera in Your Pocket?

They keep getting smaller! Sony introduced a digital camera, the Cyber-shot DSC-T1, that's 6.3 ounces, and is—seriously—the size of a credit card. But here's what's cool about this camera: You don't sacrifice as much as you'd think considering the device's itsy bitsy size. First of all, the camera has a Carl Zeiss lens, 5.1 megapixel resolution, 3X optical zoom, and a 2.5” hybrid LCD monitor for viewing and playback. Secondly, the DCS-T1 has continuous auto focus, so the camera keeps focusing until the moment of exposure, and 5-area multi-point focus, so the camera focuses on intended subjects instead of background images. The device also lets you capture full-screen VGA video at 30 frames per second. And don’t worry about memory—the camera is compatible with Memory Stick Pro Duo media that supports as much as 512MB. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1 digital camera costs $499.95
